The Juan MacLean, Cut Copy, Friendly Fires, and Empire of the Sun have been getting multiple spins daily... it's a bit of a departure from my usual repetoire, but am seriously lovin' the new sounds. Do you reckon it's a coincidence that I start listening to indie rocktronica/dance whateverica immediately after getting sweet new stereo? Sweet tunes Gards. The weekend kicks off Friday night at 54 Avenue des Pins Est with a good little Plateau welcoming party for Wollerman. The nocturnal activities will continue well into the early morning as they tend to do around here.. The city will be buzzing with good vibes, so definitely get here that weekend. It would be especially nice to see some of the Freddie contingent owing to your conspicuous absences at the last Montreal summit. This is gonna be great fun.. Hope the sign up and posting was straight forward? I'm sure there will be a few things to work out with the site, but it's great to see it's come this far. Regarding the weekend, there will still be some good jazz shows, the reggae festival is also that weekend. The phantoms are playing, and dj's etc. will pop up as we get closer to that weekend. The "married couple style" was just a subtle reminder/acknowledgement of your achievement and to lower expectations of how much you will be allowed to drink and party... just kidding Other ideas include: poker, beers all day long outside, barbecue at the apartment??
